A Person Was Arrested With 626 Narcotic Pills In Possession

 The Special Police Task Force Personal(STF) Had arrested a person with 626 illegal Narcotic Pills in his possession at Ambalanthota area (Southern Province).

STF Personal had handed over the 22 year old suspect along with the stock of Narcotic pills to the Ambalanthota Police for further investigations .

A 24 Hour Water Cut To Be Implemented In Many Areas At Kalutara District

 At a time when public is facing enormous difficulties due to the high inflation rate  in the Country ,The National Water  Supplies and Drainage Board(NWSDB) has decided to impose a 24 hour long water cut in  several areas of  Kalutra District(Western Province) from 8.30 a.m  this Wednesday (16) until 8.30 a.m next Thursday (17) .

Accordingly this 24 hour water will be imposed in Wadduwa,Waskaduwa .Pothupitiya ,Moronthuduwa ,Kalutara North and South ,Katukurunda /Nagoda ,Bombuwala and Pilaminawatte areas at Kalutara District due to an essential repair work .

Former SJB MP Hirunika Premachandre Has Been Arrested

 The Cinnamon Gardens Police have today (14) arrested 15 females including former Samagijanabalawegaya (SJB) Parliamentarian Hiunika Premachandre  over holding a protest march demanding the government  to ensure the women's rights in the country .

Former MP Hemachandre along with 14 others had participated a Protest march in Colombo today and when they arrived in the Cinnamon Gardens Police to demand the release of three  female protesters  arrested in Kalutara recently Police have arrested them.
