A Lorly Driver Has Died Due To Bus -Lorry COllision
A 44 year old Lorry driver has died and
six others including a Bus Driver had been injured and hospitalized due to a Bus -Lorry collision occurred at Kalalpitiya in Nittambuwa in Colombo -Kandy main road today (28).
Seven injured persons including the Bus and Lorry drivers and Passangers have been admitted to Wathupitiwela Hospital for treatment where the Lorry driver had succumbed to his injuries .
The incident occurred when the High speed Bus had attempted to over take a Motor Car and as a result a Lorry arrived in opposite side had collided with it according to reports.
The deceased was a resident of Dehiwala area .

A Person Was Hospitalized In Critical Condition Due To A Wasp Attack
A 55 year old person had critically
injured and hospitalized due to a Wasp attack at a forest area in 18th post village at Meegahakiwula area this morning (28).
The injured person has been admitted to the Medgahakiwula Hospital for treatment.
He had faced this incident when he went to a forest area near his house where several provoked wasps of a Huge Wasps near there surrounded and attacked him.The critically injured had saved his life by rinning away from the scene it has been revealed.

A Female Was Arrested Whilst Attempting To Leave London With A Fake Visa
A 32 year old Female who had
attempted to leave London through a fake visa had been arrested at the departure lounge of the Katunayake, Bandaranaike International Airport this noon (28) By Immigration and Emigration officials.
The suspected female who is a resident of Pudukudirippu area in Mulathivu had attemptrd to get in Sri Lankan Airlines Flight UL-504 at the time of her arrest .
After being informed British High Commission in Colombo too confirmed that the visa in possession of the suspect is a Fraudulent one .
The suspected female has told the officials thst she has attempted to leave London to meet her husband there .
She along with the fake visa had been handed over to the CID Officials at Katunayake Airport for further investigations.

A 38 Year Old Person Was Shot And Killed At Kohuwala
A 38 year old person was killed and
another person had been critically injured and hospitalized after they were shot at by two unidentified gunmen arrived in a Motorcycle , whilst travelling in a Laxurious Land Cruiser jeep at Jambugasmulla Road ,Kohuwala ,Nugegoda in wee hours of this morning (28).
The two critically injured persons had been admitted to Kalubowila Teaching Hospital where one of them had succumbed to his injuries after admission .

The other critically injured person who is a 40 year old Businessman had transferred to Colombo National Hospital for further treatment.
The deceased was a resident of Madi wela road ,Udahamulla ,Nugegoda .
The cause behind the incident has not yet been revealed and Kohuwala Police are investigating in to arrest the suspects.
Meanwhile the Police Media Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekare has announced that three special Police Teams have appointed to investigate on the Kohuwala incident.

Former Minister Mervyn De Silva Again Searching A Person To Tying To A Tree
Former Minister Mervyn De Silva who
had visited to see the destruction of Historical monuments at the Historical Vijithapura Fortress at Kala Wewa ,Kekirawa yesterday(27)got angry and told he will tying the person who has done the crime to a tree if he was there Infront of him .
Someone had destroyed the Historical monuments at Vijithapura Fortress by using backo machines and cultivated coconut and Mangoes there it has been revealed.
The angry former Minister De Silva who was famous for tied a Grama Seva officer to a tree few years back over delaying a work when he was the Minister, has stressed that Both Government and opposition have done nothing to prevent this archeological destruction.Chief Prelates of Malwatte and Asgiriya chapters should pay attention towards this he has stressed.

Another Long Hour Water Cut Implemented In Several Areas Of Colombo By The Water Board
Again another sudden long hour water
cut has been implemented by the National Water Supplies And Drainage Board with a short notice this morning (28)until 3 p.m tonight in several areas in Colombo District ,putting residents of these areas in a great difficulty.
Accordingly the sudden water cut has been implemented at Colombo -05,07,08 areas,Kotte ,Kaduwela Boralesgamuwa and Maharagama areas .
Colombo 03,04 and 06 had received water under low preassure during the water cut the Water Board has announced.
As Water Board is currently experiencing breaking down of many pipelines so often according to them ,The cause behind today's water cut is also due to a repair work of a main supplying line which faced a breakdown Board has said.
