Police Have Arrested Two Persons With Over 22 Kilos Of Cannabis In Palay Area

Image result for cannabisPolice have arrested two  persons with  22 kilos and 80 grammes of Cannabis in his possession in Palay area(North) in the wee hours of this morning(24).

The suspects were arrested while transporting the stock of Cannabis by a Motor Car.

The suspects who are residents of nelliadi and valvitithurai areas are due to be produced before the Kilinochchi Magistrate Court today(24)

An Unidentified Body Was Recovered From Ella Area

Ella Police have recovered an unidentified body of a male in a jungle near a bridge at Ella area.The body is an unrecognized state it has been revealed.

Police Arrested The Rider Of The Boat Capsized In Katukurunda Sea Coast

Police have arrested the 24 year old rider of  the Boat capsized with it's passengers in Katukurunda sea coast at Kaluthara last Sunday(19), regarding the accident.

The suspect who is resident of Bogalla in Beruwala area due to be produced before the Kaluthara Magistrate Court today(24).

Sixteen Boat  Passengers have died due to accident.

Two Persons Were Injured And Hospitalized Due To A Three Wheeler Accident In Norwood

Two persons were injured and hospitalized this morning(24) after a Three Wheeler they were traveling in veered off the road and fallen down  a canal in Norwood area(Central Province).

The injured were admitted to the Dikoya Base Hospital for treatment.

The Three Wheeler traveling from Gampola to Bagawanthalawa area faced this accident as the driver not able to control the speed it has been revealed.

Navy And Police Arrested 18 Sri Lankans Who Attempted To Migrate To New Zealand Illegally

Sri Lanka Navy Personal and the Police had arrested 18 Sri Lankans who attempted to migrate to New Zealand illegally via sea by a Boat this morning(24) in Lellama,Negambo (Western Province) area.

Out of the 18 persons arrested 15 are Tamil Nationals it has been revealed.
