Three Special Courts To Be Established During Next Two Weeks To Hear Cases On Fraud And Corruption Of Previous Regime-Cabinet Spokesman
Three Special Courts will be established during next
two weeks to hear the court cases on fraud and Corruption occurred during the previous regime the Co-Cabinet spokesman ,Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has stated during the Cabinet briefing held at Government Information Department in Narahenpita today (21).
The Act on establishing these special courts has already finalized and after establishing these courts ,Cases against those who involved in fraud and corruption activities during previous regime will hear daily he has stressed.

SAITM Students To Be Recruited To Medical Faculty Of The Kotalawala Defense Acadamy-President's Media Division
Around 1000 medical students currently studying at
SAITM (Malabe Private Medical Collage) will be recruited to the Medical Faculty of the Kotalawala Defense Acadamy as per their basic qualifications the President's Media Division has announced this evening (21).
The decision regarding this had been taken during a meeting held at President's office in Colombo with the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena.A delegation including Attorney General,Chairman of the University Grants Commission ,Dean of the Medical Faculty of Kotalawala Defense Acadamy and the Vice Chancellor of Kotalawala Defense Acadany had participated this discussion.

A 19 Year Old Motorcyclist Was Killed Due To A Motorcycle-Tipper Truck-Tourist Bus Collision
A 19 year old Motorcyclist was killed due to a
Motorcycle-Tipper truck -Tourist Bus collision occurred at palvehera area on Dambulla - Habrana main road this evening (21).
The accident occurred due to the Motorcycle collided with a Tipper Truck transporting sand from Dambulla and a Tourist Bus arrived in from Habarana area.
The deceased was a resident of Palvehera area in Dambulle.
Irresponsible driving of the Motorcyclist and the Tipper Truck driver had caused the accident according to the Dambulle Police.

A Principal Rapist Was Sentenced A Ten Year Rigorous Imprisonment Over Raping A Nine Year Old School Girl In Jaffna
A Principal who found guilty over raping a nine year
old school girl in naranthanei,Jaffna few times between 01st of November 2009 to 26th of December 2010 was sentenced a 10 year rigorous imprisonment by the Jaffna High Court Judge Manickavasagar Ilanveliyan today (21).
High Court Judge Ilanveliyan had also ordered the accused Principal to pay Rs.one million compsnsation and Rs.5000 fine to the victim and if the accused fail to paying it imposed a further two year and one month rigorous jail sentences respectively .
High Court Judge Ilanveliyan had also sentenced the accused responsible for the abduction and rape of Jaffna school girl vidya ,to death recently.

Prime Minister Informed The Parliament That The Explosion Occurred In The Bus In Diyathalawa Was Not A Terrorist Activity
Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe has today
(21)informed the Parliament that the Explosion which led to fire occurred in a Private Bus at Kahagolla, Diyathalawa this morning (21)was due to a a grenade explosion and not a terrorist activity.
Army Commander has confirmed that the explosion had occurred due to a hand Grenade and Police have launched an investigation over the incident which injured 19 persons including 12 military personal Prime Minister has stated.
It is believed that the Grenade carried by a military personal was exploded at the next seat behind the Drivers seat of the Private Bus according to sources.
The injured were admitted to the Diyathalawa Hospital for treatment.
Fire brigade and the Police have rushed to the scene and doused the fire however the bus was severely damaged at that time it has been revealed.

Few Roads In Colombo Temporarily Closed Due To A Anti SAITM Protest March
The roads from Colombo Town -Hall towards
Borella,Ward place and Lotus Road in Colombo fort have been temporarily closed this evening (21)due to a Anti SAITM protest march conducted by Anti SAITM students Peoples Movement .
Police have requested the Motorists to use an alternative routes due to the closure of these roads and as a result heavy traffic has been reported in roads around Colombo it has been reported.
The Anti SAITM Medical students,their parents and University students have participated this protest march which conducted by demanding to solve few of their demands including suspending the deafts prepared by the government to legalize the SAITM (Malabe Private Medical Collage)by another name and abolish the gazette notification issued regarding minimum srandards of medical education.
The protest march had begun from the University of Fihe Arts in Colombo.
