512 Corona Positives Had Been Discharged From Hospitals Yesterday (15)

A total of 512 Corona positives had been discharged from hospitals, and treatment centers yesterday (15)after full recovery according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly 44,259 Corona positives had been discharged so far. From hospitals and treatment centers after full recovery .

Fifteen MP"S Who Had Undergone "PCR " Tests Last Wednesday Tested Negative For Corona

The fifteen Parliamentarians who had undergone "PCR "Tests last Wednesday (13)at the Parliament Premises had been tested negative according to Parliament sources.

Another batch of 15 Parliamentarians had undergone "PCR "tests along with around 400 parliament employees yesterday (15)as well .463 persons including 15 Parliamentarians and Parliament employees had undergone. "PCR "tests last Wednesday However there are no report on the test results of other Parliament employees who had undergone "pcr' tests last Wednesday

Three Parliamentarians including Ministers Dayasiri Jayasekare ,Wasudeva Nanayakkara and MP Rauf Haleem had been tested positive for Corona virus and 25 MP"s who had been identified as close contacts of them had been quarantined already .

Isolation Of Eight Areas At Three Police Divisions Had Been Lifted

The isolation imposed in 08 Rural development officer (Grama Sewa Niladari Wasam ) at Ehaliyagoda ,Panadura and Beruwala Police divisions had been lifted since 5 a.m this morning (16) according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly isolation imposed in five Rural Development Officers areas at Ehaliyagoda Police division including Minnana , 675 Thotawatte Area of Panadura Police Division and Maggona East and West areas of Beruwala Police division had been lifted .

Four Corona Deaths Again Reported. yesterday(15)

Four Corona positives including three males and a female had died yesterday (15)increasing the total number of Corona deaths in the country to 255 according to the Health Ministry .

Accordingly four Corona Positives resided at Kiribathgoda ,Colombo -10 ,Nawalapitiya and Colombo -15 of the ages 90,60 ,78 and 75 had died due to the complications of Bronchitis and Pneumonia diseases they have suffered from as a result of Corona infection it has been revealed .

Meanwhile the question raised by many in the local society these days is how can A same number of Corona positives deaths are being reported daily from. A country as happened in Sri lanka .

683 Corona Positives Reported Yesterday (15)

Another 683 Corona Positives had been reported yesterday (15)in the island ,raising the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 51,594 according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly all these positives were close contacts of the previous Corona positives reported from Minuwangoda ,Paliyagoda and Prisons clusters the Unit has stated .So far 47810 Corona positives had been reported from these clusters .

At the moment 7080 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and treatment centers .

Nawalpitiya Town Had Been Shut Down Temporarily Due To Corona Cases

Nawalapitiya (Kandy District ) Town had been temporarily shut down today (15) for disinfection following the identifying of 16 Corona positives within Nawalpitiya MOH area it has been reported.

All the shops in the town too had been closed as few of the Corona positives that had been identified had visited them .

Two Chefs At A Tourist Hotel In Galle Where England Cricketers Staying In Tested Positive For Corona Virus

Two chefs attached to A Tourist Hotel in Dadalla ,Galle where the English Cricketers are staying in during the First Test match currently being played in Galle International Cricket stadium, had been tested positive for Corona virus it has been reported .

The two Corona positives who are residents of Welgama and Kapumulla areas are to be admitted to hospital for treatment today (15).They were identified as Corona positives though the "PCR" tests performed among Hotel staff and English cricketers yesterday (14).

Four Corona Deaths Reported Yesterday (14)

Another 04 Corona deaths had been reported in the island yesterday (14) increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 251 according to National Covid+19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly three males and a female resided at Ginthota in Eastern Galle ,Dummalasuriya ,Galgamuwa and Colombo-13 of the ages 47,72,57 and 53 years had died due to the complications of non communicable diseases they have suffered from the Center has stated .

670 Corona Positives Were Reported Yesterday (14)

A total of 670 Corona Positives had been reported in the island yesterday (14) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 50,899 according to Epidemiology Unit .All these positives were locals and contacts of previous Corona positives belonging to Minuwangoda ,Paliyagoda and Prisons clusters the Unit has stated .

The majority of these positives were reported from Colombo District (214) and 119 and 90 cases each reported from Gampaha and Kandy Districts respectively .

At the moment 6901 Corona positives are being treated at government hospitals and treatment centers .,
