 Another 417 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from  Government hospitals and treatment centers  in the country today (03) according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly 80,437 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged so far 

afterer full recovery 

A Mother Had Jumped In To A Well With Her Three Children At Kilinochchi

A child has died  and two other children went missing after their mother had jumped in to a well belonging  to a Hindu Kovil at iranamadu area in Kilinochchi area (Northern Province ) with them following an argument  had with her husband this evening (03).

Residents of the area   had managed to rescue  the mother however not able to rescue her children it had been reported .The three children of the ages 2,5 and 08 years had gone missing ,However the body of one of the children had been recovered later his evening. 

The mother of the children is currently  undergoing treatment at  the Kilinochchi hospital in critical condition it has been revealed .The mother had jumped into a well located at Pillayar  Kovil in kilinochchi area .Dharmapuram  Police are investigating on the incident .

335 Corona Positives Reported Today (03)

 A total of 335 Corona positives had been reported today !03) increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far in the country  to 84,226 according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

At the moment 3305 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and treatment centers the Center has stated 

A Corona Death Was Reported Today (03)

 A Corona Death was reported today (03) in the country ,increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far to 484 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly a 65 year old female resident of Eravur area in Batticaloa District has died at Mulleriyawa Teaching Hospital after being transferred from Batticaloa Teaching Hospital due to the Septacemia and Covid Pneumonia the Center has stated .

Meanwhile Corona death rate in the country has been increased to 0.58 percent it has been revealed .

Three Persons Were Arrested In Possession Of 10.5 Kilo Grammes Of Kerala Cannabis And Ice

 Police officers attached to Crimes Investigations division of the Mount Lavinia Police had  today (03)arrested three persons in possession of 10 Kilos of Kerala Canabies and 50 grammes of 'Ice "narcotic according to ,police .

Accordingly police had arrested the three suspects who are residents of Hadigama ,Piliyandala area and of the ages 35,40 and 38 years at Hadigama  area .The suspects had purchase this stock of Narcotics from a female at Wanathamulla in Borella area .

The estimated value of the stock of Narcotics taken in to custody in possession of the suspect is Rs.1.6 million .

Accordingly all these positives were contacts of the Corona positives reported from.several Corona clusters in the country previously the Center has stated .

At the moment  3155 Corona Positives are being treated at government hospitals and Quarantine centers  it has been revealed .
