University Lecturers today have suspended their Trade Union Action launched few weeks back temporarily agreeing the interim solution introduced by the Government to increase their salaries The Federation Of University Teachers Association(FUTA) has announced.The University Academic Staff including Lecturers resigned from their voluntary posts too by demanding a reasonable pay hike for them and threatening to withdraw from evaluation work of the Examination Papers of this years G.C.E Advanced Level Examination unless the government not able to meet their demand.
