WHO Stressed The Need Of A Vaccine To Control Swine Flu

As Spreading of Swine Influenza (H1N1) throughout the World is unstoppable and every country should be provided a Vaccine to Controlling it World Health Organization(WHO) Announced Today.How ever Still not a Single Pharmaceutical Company is able to Produce an effective Vaccine for the Disease according to WHO.

Swine Flu is responsible for claiming the lives of 500 Patients and around One Million were affected from the Disease so far according to the WHO.

The Total number of Dengue Patients reported throughout the Island is decreased within last two weeks according to the Director of the Sri Lankan Epidemiology Unit Dr.Pabha Palihawadana.However this decrease may be a Shorter One and if the Rain will prevails in coming weeks Spreading of Dengue will increase again she stressed.

Addressing a Press Briefing in Colombo today she said that the Total number of Dengue Patients reported from last week showed a decrease of 418 from the Number that reported in a week before that.Dengue Deaths too shown a slight decrease according to her.
