A youth who has arrived in Wennappuwa area along with his friends from Kandy had drowned in the sea on Sunday evening during a sea bath according to the Wennappuwa police.The drowned youth who is attached to a private company in Kandy arrived in Wennapuwa along with 30 office friends for the a annual trip of the company it has been reported.
The fishermen in Wennappuwa have launched a search operation to find the body of the drowned youth.
Wennappuwa Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.
