Joint Opposition To Support Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapakshe When Brings A No Confidence Motion Against Him

The Joint Opposition Group of the parliament has
decided to provide it's support to the Minister of Justice and Buddhasasana Wijedasa Rajapakshe when a group of Government MP's bring a no confidence motion against the Minister according to the Joint opposition MP Ranjith Soyza.

The Joint Opposition will support the Justice Minister during the no confidence motion without any condition MP Soyza has stated.

The no confidence motion is due to be handed over to the Speaker during this week it has been earlier reported.


A Person Was Killed Due To A Road Accident In Ratnapura

A person was killed and three others have been
injured and hospitalized after the motor car they were travelling in veering off the road and crashed in to a wall at holipiiya on Ratnapura-Panadura main road.

After being admitted to the Ratnapura Hospital one of the injured had succumbed to injuries it has been reported.

The accident was occurred as the driver of the motor car unable to control the vehicle it has been revealed.

Ratnapura police are conducting an investigation on the incident.

Three Indian Nationals Have Been Arrested With 119 Grammes Of Gold

Police Narcotic Bureau officials had arrested three
Indian nationals who attempted to go abroad  with around 119 gramm es of Heroin hidden in their bodies at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport.

The suspects along with the gold had been handed over to the Airport customs for further investigations.

A Female And Two Girls Have Injured Due To A Road Accident

A female and two girls had received burn injuries and
hospitalized after a van they were travelling in colliding with a high voltage lamp post in Kiribath kumbura area on Colombo-Kandy main road this evening (13).

The injured have been admitted to the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital for treatment.

A heavy traffic had been reported from the area this evening due to the accident.

A Sudden Fire Erupted In A Shop In Bandarawela

A shop selling Musical instruments in Bandarawela
had damaged due to a sudden fire erupted in the shop last night (12).

The residents of the area along with Bandarawela Police have doused the fire according to the reports.

The value of the damage occurred in the shop and the cause of the fire not yet been revealed.

Bandarawela Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.
