Assassinated Former Government MP Late Bharata Was Provided With Sufficent Security -Cabinet Spokesman

The Cabinet Spokesman Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has stated today that the sufficient security with 4 Security Officers were provided for the Assassinated Former Government MP and Presidential Director General of Trade Union Affairs Bharata Lakshman Premachandra.

As the Late Former MP was worked closely with the President Rajapaksha and was having an official room at the President's House he will communicated easily with the President if there was an issue regarding his security Minister further added.

While addressing the Cabinet Briefing held today the Minister has said that the injured MP Duminda Silva who was having head injuries following the killing incident of Late MP Bharatha is not a Presidential Adviser and only a monitoring MP of the Defense Ministry .

Vietnamese Delegation Led By The Country's President Arrived Today

The President Of Vietnam Truong Tan Sang and a delegation  arrived Sri Lanka today(13) for a three day official visit.The Vietnamese President and his wife were welcomed  by Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksha and the First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksha at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Air Port.

The Vietnamese Delegation is due to attend a Vietnam -Sri Lanka Business Forum scheduled to be held in Hotel Taj Samudra tomorrow evening which will be inaugurated by the Vietnamese President and afterwards he is due to meet Sri Lankan Minister Of External Affairs and the Speaker to discuss bi lateral issues related to two countries.

The Party Membership of Two of the reform activists attached to  main opposition the United National Party(UNP) Parliamentarian Buddhika Pathirana and Western Provincial Councillor Shiral Lakthilake temporarily suspended pending  an inquiry the party sources said today.
