Eight Corona Deaths Reported Yesterday (17)

 Another 08 Corona deaths had been reported today (17),increasing the total number of Corona deaths reported so far in the country to 264 according to

National Covid -19 Prevention Center .

Accordingly 07 males and a female had died due to the complications of the non communicable diseases they have suffered from as a result of the Corona infection .

The deceased were residents of Udupussallawa ,kolonnawa,Polonnaruwa ,Borella  Colombo ,-08,Ududumbara ,Kegalle and Dehiwala area .The deceased were of the age group 27-87 years .

749 Corona Positives Reported Today (17?

 A total of 749 Corona positives had been reported in the country today (17)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 53,,062 according  to the Ministry Of Health .

Accordingly all these positives were contacts of the previous Corona positives   reported from Minuwangoda ,Paliyagoda and Prisons Corona Clusters  the Ministry has stated .

So far  49,274  Corona positives had been reported from these clusters it has been revealed  .At the moment 7627 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and treatment centers .
