Around Rs.10 million in damages have been caused due to the clashes occurred in Welikada Prison in Colombo last Friday according to Prisons Commissioner P.W Kodippili .around 27 persons killed and another 40 persons including Soldiers ,Special Task Force(STF) Personal and prisoners injured during the clashes.Meanwhile 79 out of 82 fire arms stolen from Prison Armory during clashes have been recovered up to now Prisons Commissioner has said.
