Over Six Houses Damaged During The Landing Of Helicopters Providing Security To Indian Prime Minister In Hatton
Over Six houses were damaged and two persons have been injured and hospitalized in Samanalagama,Hatton yesterday(12) due to a power of the wind occurred following the landing of Indian Helicopters providing security to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Singh Modi it has been reported.
The incident occurred during the landing of the Helicopters to Dabar Grounds in Hatton.The Galvanized roofing sheets of many houses reported as flown away during the Helicopter landing.
The residents of the area had complaint on the damages to the relevant officials it has been reported.

A Hand Bomb Recovered From The Premises Of Sri Lanka Medical Council
A hand bomb has been recovered from the premises of Sri Lanka Medical Council in Wijerama Mawatha,Colombo -07 this morning(13).
The Police have defused the Bomb it has been reported.
The reason behind the throwing a Bomb at Medical Council not yet been revealed.

A Female In Hatton Was Injured And Hospitalized After A Wall Collapsed On Her During The Landing Of Indian PM'S Helicopter
A female was injured and hospitalized this noon(12) after a wall of her house collapsed on her following the landing of an Indian Helicopter carried Indian Prime Minister Narendra Singh Modi landed on Norwood Grounds in Hatton.
The injured female had admitted to the Hatton Hospital for treatment.
The accident occurred due to strong winds occurred during the landing of the Helicopter carried Indian Premier according to the Police.
Earlier it has been reported that during a rehearsal conducted by the Indian Helicopters prior to Indian Prime Minister's arrival to Sri Lanka some roofs of the houses in Hatton have damaged.

Indian Prime Minister Met Former President Rajapakshe In Cololmbo
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Singh Modi who arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday(11) to attend United Nations International Vesak Day Festival held in Colombo today(12) had met with former President Mahinda Rajapakshe last night and held talks according to sources.
Although a meeting with former President Rajapakshe was not in his agenda the Indian Premier Modi had given a meeting to former President as per his request it has been revealed.
The details regarding the talks not yet been revealed.Along with the former president Rajapakshe his brother and former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapkshe too attended the meeting and Indian delegates including India\s National Security Adviser Ajith Kumar also participated at the meeting.

Seven Persons including two children were injured and hospitalized after the Car they were traveling in colliding with a Wild Elephant who was crossing the Habarana-Trincomalee main road last night(11).
The Wild Elephant was killed due to the accident it has been reported.
The injured including a Doctor and staff members of the Trincomalee Hospital were admitted to the Dambulla Base Hospital for treatment.

A 53 Year Old Person Has Died After Fallen Down From A Lorry
A 53 year old person who got involved in a brawl with another person had fallen down from a Lorry and died yesterday(11)in Mallkawa ,Bulathsinghala area.

Sri Lanka Navy have recovered a parcel contains 9.3 Kilo Grammes of Heroin floating on the sea area around 08 nauticl miles to Kankasanthurai Port.
A group of Navy personal in a Coastal Guard ship had seen a parcel floating on the sea and after collecting it and checked it has been revealed that the Parcel contains Heroin.
The estimated value of the haul of Heroin recovered is more than Rs.9 billion according to the reports.

A 26 Year Old Youth Had Drowned In Sea Coastal Area Of Mirijjawila
A 26 year old youth has drowned yesterday(11) while bathing in sea coastal area in Mirijjawila,Hambanthota(Southern Province) .
As per an information received ,Hambanthota Police have launched a rescue operation in search of the drowned youth and recovered his body today(12) according to the Police.

Air India To Launch Direct Flights From Colombo To Varanasi-Indian P.M Modi
India's National Carrier "Air India" is due to launch direct flights from Colombo to Varanasi(Baranasa),India from this August according to the visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Sigh Modi.
