No Confidence Motion Against Health Minister Was Defeated.
The no confidence motion sumitted to the Parliament against the Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella had been defeated yesterday (08) by a majority of 40 votes .
Accordingly 113 MP"s voted in favor of the motion whilst 73 MP's voted in favor of it.38 MP's were absent during the vote it has been reported.
The main oopposition Samagijanabalawegaya Party had submitted this no confidence motion against the Health Minister over importation of sun standerd drugs to the country under the indian credit line which led to few patient deaths recently .
