The total number of Corona Deaths in the country had risen to 278 as another 02 Corona Deaths had been reported in the island yesterday (22)according to the Ministry of Health .
Accordingly a 82 year old male resided at Colombo -08 and a 51 year old female resided at Homagama had died. Due to the Covid related Pneumonia ,Septacemia and Renal failure conditions respectively caused by Corona infection.
A total of 784 Corona positives had been reported in the Country yesterday (22)increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 56,683 according to National Covid -19 Prevention Center .
All the positives that had been reported today were contacts of the previous Corona positives reported from Minuwangoda ,Paliyagoda and Prisons corona clusters the Center has stated
So far 52,986 Corona positives had bern reported from these clusters it has been revealed .At the moment 7968 Corona positives are being treated at Government hospitals and treatment centers .
Another 769 Corona positives had been recovered and discharged from Hospitals and treatment centers yesterday (21) and 633 positives discharged after full recovery today (22)according to Epidemeology Unit
Accordingly 48,617 Corona positives had been discharged do far the unit has stated .

Acccordingly a 71 year old female resided in Paliyagoda and a 46 year old male resided in Athurugiriya had died due to the complications of severe Pneumonia and respiratory illness they have suffered with caused by Corona virus .
The deceased had died whilst receiving treatment at Mulleriyawa Base and Homagama Base hospitals .
A total of 887 Corona positives including a foreign national had been reported yesterday (21) according to the National Covid -19 Prevention Center .
Accordingly majority of these Corona positives which was 337 had been reported from Colombo District .Corona positives had been reported from all 25 districts in the island yesterday the center has stated .
Altogether 56,422 Corona positives had been reported so far in the country .
