Annual Budget Proposals To Be Presented To The Parliament Tomorrow(14)

The Annual budget proposal for next year first by the current administration lead by President Ranil Wikramsinghe is scheduled to be presented to the Parliament tomorrow(14). National List? What List? – Groundviews

The Annual Budget proposals-2023 prepared by aiming for stable and long term Economic Development will be presented to the Parliament by President Wikramasinghe as the Finance Minister of the government .

As the Government is in a position of losing the majority in Parliament ,some key members of the Opposition are expected to join with President Wikramasinghe's government, unconfirmed sources had revealed .

Unloading Of Crude Oil Ship And A Petrrol Ship Has Resumed

Unloading of Two ships carrying Crude Oil and Octane-95 Petrol anchored at Colombo harbor has resumed today (13) according to the Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekare .

Accordingly the unloading of a Ship carrying 99,978 Metric tonnes of Crude Oil and a ship carrying 19,505 Metric tonnes had resumed .A Petrol ship had arrived in the country first time since last April he had stressed .However Colombo harbor authorities had stated earlier that few crude oil and petrol and diesel ships had stuck in Colombo harbor since weeks due to the foreign reserve shortage .

Transport Activities In Upcountry Railway Line Disrupted

Transport activities in Upcountry railway line have come to a standstill due to the falling of soil mounds to the several areas of the railway line accordance to the Sri Lanka Railways Department . Collapsed earth mound disrupts services on upcountry railway line

Accordingly transport activities between Diyathalawa-Bandarawela Railway line and Ohiya-Idlagashinna railway line are being disrupted due to this situation .More soil mound collapses had been reported from above mentioned railway stations few hours ago .Railway employees and officials had managed to remove soil mounds and rocks fallen to Diythalawa-Bandarawela Railways line it has been reported .
