An Expert Committe Report On Dozring Ancient Court Over Dozering An Ancient Court Room
The expert committe report on
dozering the ancient court room building (Raja sabha mandapaya) belongs to King Buwanekabahu the 02 nd of Kurunagala Kingdom ,is scheduled to be handed over to the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakshe tomorrow (20).
The Ancient court room building of King Buwanekabahu built in 13 th century had been dozered by the Kurunagala Municipal Council last Wednesday (15) night it has been revealed.
Police had submitted facts to Kurunagala Magistrate Court against Urban Development Authority and Road Development elopement Authority against the dozering .
Meanwhile acting Inspector General Of Police Chandana Wikramaratna had instructed the senior superintendent of Police in Kurunagala to inquire on the incident and submit a report .

yesterday (18)arrested a female with 16 Grammes and 90 Mili Grammes of Heroin in her possession at Ratmalana in Mount Lavinia Police division .
The suspected female who is a resident of Ratmalana area is scheduled to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate Court.

Twenty One Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (19)-Majority Are Imported Cases
Accordingly out of the 21 Corona positives reported today ,09 Were arrivals from Saudi Arabia ,04 were close contacts of Kandakadu Drug Rehabilitation Center corona cluster ,01 from Senapura Drug rehabilitation Center, 03 were arrivals from Qatar and 04 arrivals from India (02) and United Arab Emirates (02)the unit has stated
All these positives had been identified whilst undergoing quarantine at quarantine Centers.
At the moment 678 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals.

recovered and discharged from hospitals this morning (19) increasing the total number of Corona positives discharged from hospitals after full recovery to 2035 according to the Epidemeology Unit.

PHI"s Withdrawn From Corona And Infectious Diseases Control Programmes Demanding Legal Powers To Combat Corona
All public health inspectors (PHI) in the
country are currently being withdrawn from all Corona Control activities and Control programmes on Infectious Diseases including dengue by demanding legal powers to prevent spreading corona virus in the society according to Sri Lanka Public Health Inspectors Union .
Accordingly PHI Union is demanding Aithorities to provide legal powers to prevent unconcious situations face by the public during corona pandamic and withdrawing the statement made by Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi stating PHI"s will not be legally empowered during corona pandamic the Union 's president Upul Rohana has stressed.
Due to this action Corona Control activities and activities related to Infectious Disease control programmes are being paralysed it has been reported.

All Schools Are Scheduled To Be Re-Opened Next Week
The interim school holidays given to all
school children during last week due to corona transmission risk ,has been extended until 27 th of July (Monday )according to the recommendations made by director general of Health Services, Education Ministry has announced.
Accordingly from next Monday only the students of Grades 11,12 and 13 can attend schools and the rest of the students are scheduled to attend school from 10 th of August after the General election scheduled on 05 th of August the Ministry has stated .
Meanwhile the Director General Of Health Services had advised educational authorities in Rajanganaya and Welikanda areas where corona positives related to Kandakadu Corona cluster had been identified, not to reopen schools in those areas until 10 th of August .
Meamwhile new dates fixed for Government. G.C.E Advanced level and Grade five scholarship examination are due to be announced tomorrow .
