276 Sri Lankans Stranded In Australia Due To Pandamic Returned To Sri Lanka Yesterday (21)

A group of 276 Sri Lankans stranded at
Australia Due to the Corona pandamic had been brought back to Sri Lanka by a Special Sri Lankan Airlines flight last evening  (21).

The special Sri Lankan Airlines flight carrying these Sri Lankans who are mostly students studying in Melbourne, Australia had arrived at Katunayake International Airport from Melbourne.

"PCR "tests had been  performed for  all the Passangers and cabin crew of the flight and later they were transferred to Nearby hotels Untill receiving their test results. 

Twenty Four Corona Positives Discharged From Hospitals After Recovery Yesterday (21)

A total of 24 Corona positives had been

discharged from hospitals after full recovery yesterday  (21) according to Epidemeology Unit .

Accordingly the total number of Corona positives recovered and discharged from hospitals had risen to 2789 the unit has stated .

Meanwhile the total number of "PCR "tests performed to identify Corona positives in the country has exceeded 200,000 according to Health Promotions Bureau. 

23 Corona Positives Reported Yesterday (21)-Details Of 06 Positives Not Yet Been Revealed

A total of 23 Corona positives had been reported in the country yesterday (21)increasing the total number of
Corona positives in the country to 2941 according to the Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly out of the 23 Corona positives reported yesterday, There were 12 arrivals from United Arab Emirates, 01 arrival each from Indonesia, Kuwait and Turkey and 02 arrivals from Chennai ,India  who are under quarantine at quarantine Centers among the first 17 Corona positives .However authorities have not mentioned on whereabouts of  06 Corona positives reported afterwards.

At the moment 141 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals.
