Two Persons Killed Due To A Motor Cycle Accident On Thambuttegama-Nochchiyagama Road
Two persons were killed following the Motor Cycle they were riding in
veered off the road on Thambuttegama -Nochchiyagama road(North Central Province)yesterday (09) it has been reported.
The deceased were residents of Narangaswewa area according to the reports.
The accident was occurred as the Motor Cyclist unable to control the speed of the Motor Cycle it has been revealed.

One Person Killed And Six Others Injured Due To An Accident On Hatton-Bagawanthalawa Road
One person killed and six others including two children injured
and hospitalized after the three wheeler they were travelling in fallen down a precipice at Dikoya area on Hatton-Bagawanthalawa main road(Upcountry) in the wee hours of this morning(10).
There were seven persons in the Three Wheeler at the time of the accident and they were on their way home after attending a religious ceremony held in Hatton-Dikoya area.

President To Provide A Solution For SAITM Issue
President Maithripala Sirisena has today(09) stated that he will give
a fair and impartial solution for Malabe Private Medical Collage (SAITM)which can be agreeable to each and everyone .
President has requested all medical students in the country to attend lectures without boycotting them over the SAITM Issue.

A Protest March And Rally Organized Against SAITM Caused Heavy Traffic In Nugegoda
Heavy traffic was reported on High Level road in Nugegoda this
evening due to a protest march and rally held in Nugegoda against the Malabe Private Medical Collage(SAITM).
The protest march began from Sri Jayawardenapura University's premises this evening with the participation of Medical Students Activists ,University Students ,Inter University Students Federation members and Civil Organization representatives and reached Nugegoda Junction late evening.
Afterwards a protest rally was held the sources have stated .

Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places Found In 102 Schools In Colombo
Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places found from around 102 schools in Colombo District including some of the leading schools during a raid carried out in the schools early this month the National Dengue Control Programme.
Out of the 170 schools raided ,Dengue Mosquito Larvae has been found in 44 schools the Programme has stated.
At the moment Dengue patients are being reported from Nine Districts in the country namely Colombo,Gampaha,Kalutara ,Batticaloa,Jaffna,Kalmunai,Galle,Matara and Ratanapura districts it has been revealed.
During this year more than 9500 Dengue patients have been reported and 12 Dengue Deaths occurred according to the Dengue Control Campaign.

Army Personal Was Killed Due To A Cab-Train Collision In Jaffna
Army Personal was killed and another Army Personal injured and hospitalized following the Cab they were traveling in collided with a Train "Yal Devi" near the Pungakulam Train Station in Jaffna (North) this morning (09).
The deceased has been identified as a Army Personal atached to the Ayyakachchi Army Camp in Kilinochchi area.
According to the sources the Cab collided with the Train moved along with the rail track for around 50 meters.
