A Training Center Maintained At A Safe House In Kaththankudy By Jamaath Leader Mohommad Zahran Recovered

Police along with Special Police Task
Force (STF)Personal  have recovered a Training center maintained in a safe house at OlliKulam in Kaththankudy by the Leader of the Banned National Thowheeth Jamaath Organization Mohommad Zahran Hashim  during a search operation carried out in the area .
The four storied house has been maintained as a farm to mislead the neighbours in the area according to Police. A Water tank is fixed on the roof top and it has been used to inspect surrounding area Police have said .

Police have arrested a person in the land area along with three S-Lon pipes use to make bombs at the house .

Negambo Clash Occurred As A Result Of A Personal Dispute -Police

Police curfew has been imposed in
Negambo and Kochchikade Police Divisions few hours ago due to a clash between two groups at Poruthota ,Negambo Police Media Spokesman Superintendent Of Police (SP) Ruwan Gunasekare has stated today (05).

A personal argument between two persons attached to fisheries industry in Negambo has turned into a religious dispute and as a result a group of persons had arrived in Poruthota and attacked shops and vehicles there it has been revealed.

Police have imposed a Police curfew in Negambo with immediate effect and control the situation .

Those who are going to Katunayake Airport tonight  can show their Air Ticket to the security forces and leave Police have announced.

The curfew will be lifted at 7 a.a.m tomorrow morning (06).

A Person Was Arrested With A Sword And 15 Knives In Possession

Ambagasdova Police have arrested a
Muslim National along with a Sword and 15 knives in his possession at his house in Mudanava, Ambagasdova,Uva parana gama this evening (05).

Police have arrested the suspect according to an information received it has been  revealed.

He is due to be produced before WeliMada Magistrate Court.

Police Have Recovered 235 Knives Left Near A Road In Kaththankudy

Kaththankudy Police have recovered different varieties of 235 Knives left near a road in Dean Road area,Kaththankudy (Eastern Province) today v(05) .

No one was arrested regarding the incident.Police are conducting an investigations to find out who had left these knives near the road and it's purpose .


Three Bangladeshi Nationals Without Visas Had Been Arrested In Mulleriyawa

Police have arrested Three Bangladeshi Nationals who have stayed in Sri Lanka illegally
without valid visas at Kelanimulla in Mulleriyawa area (yesterday (04).

The suspects who are 12.28 and 32 years old are due to be produced before Hulftsdorf Court . 

Air Force To Deploy Sky Marshals In Sri Lankan Airlines Flights To Provide Security ?

Sri Lankan Airlines had requested
Air force to deploy Sky Marshals to provide safety and security in Air Transportation of Sri Lankan Airlines flights .

Air force is currently planning to deploy Sky Marshals in Sri Lankan Airline flights as a response to the request of Sri Lankan Airlines  and evaluating the International legal obligations and the existing regulatory framework   regarding the matter according to Air force Spokesman Group Captain Gihan Seneviratne.
