Sri Lanka Navy Personal Had attested two persons yesterday(30 ) who attempted to smuggle Gold Biscuits weighing 5.5 kilo grammes to India through a fishing boat at North Of Kankasanthurai(In Northern Province)The suspects were arrested while they attempting to transport the stock of Gold by showing that they are fishermen the Navy have stated.
The arrested persons along with the stock of Gold Biscuits were handed over to the Jaffna Customs Officers for further Investigations according to Navy Sources.
