Cabinet Approved A Proposal To Name Sri Lanka Police Department As "Sri Lanka Police"

The Cabinet has  approved a proposal made by the Minister of Law and Order and Southern Development.to name Sri Lanka Police Department as "Sri Lanka Police" .

The Sri Lanka Police Department which celebrates it's 150th anniversary this year has been decided to adapt a standard name for the Department.

Accordingly the Cabinet has approved the name proposed by the Minister of Law and Order through the Cabinet Paper.
