The Independent Medicinal Drug Authority has decided to postpone the issuing of gazette notification regarding the reducing of drug prices up to 85% ,which is scheduled tomorrow(31), for a two week period due to technical problems arisen the Ministry Of Health Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine has announced.The gazette notification on reducing drug prices in the local market earlier scheduled to be issued tomorrow and the Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has granted permission to Independent Medicinal Drug Authority to postpone the issuing gazette as per the request made by the authority.
After solving the technical problems the Authority will issue the above mentioned gazette notification in two weeks time the Ministry has stated,
