The Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indeginuous Medicine has requested all Wesak Alms Giving Center(Dansal) Organizers island wide who are organizing such centers to mark Wesak Poya Day to register their alms giving centers through nearest district health office.Those who have failed to get registration for their alms giving centers will not be allowed to conduct such centers for forthcoming Wesak according to Ministry Sources.
The Health Ministry has instructed all the provincial health authorities to check alms giving centers organize for Wesak to see whether the food serve there is in good quality.
