Criminal Investigations Department
(CID)officials have this morning (02)arrested two persons expelled by the Dubai Authorities who had been in jail with Sri Lankan Drug Kingpin Makandure Madush ,upon their arrival at the Katunayake International Airport .
The two suspects Mohommad Siddique Mohommad Siam (48)and Lanka Sajin Perera(40) had been expelled from Dubai today after being in Prison in Dubai over a month following their arrest at a party hosted by Madush in Dubai..They have arrived in through a Sri Lankan Airlines flight.
CID is due to question them to find out whether they are having connections with Sri Lankan underworld it has been revealed .
Dubai authorities have earlier expelled 07 out of the 31 Suspects arrested with Makandure Madush and CID had arrested all of them and handed over the Drug smuggler Kanjipani Imran who was among them to Colombo Crimes Division for further action .Three of those expelled from Dubai including a prison guard had been remanded .
Colombo Crimes Division had obtained three month detention order from Colombo Magistrate Court to question Kanjipani Imran.
