A 40 year old Indian National had been
arrested by a Customs officer with five 24 carrot Gold chains in his possession hidden in his underwear at Katunayake ,Bandaranaike Internationl Airport in wee hours of this morning (01).
The 05 chains taken into custody in possession of the suspect are worth around Rs.6.8 million and weighing around 1 Kilo Gramme it has been revealed.
The suspect had arrived in Sri Lanka through a Sri Lankan Airlines flight from Chennai ,Southern India.
