The Ratnapura-Nivithigala Main road has been closed due to a sinking risk of Kambadola Bridge in the road and as a result all Transport activities of the road have been suspended it has been reported.The Kambadola Bridge is being risk of sinking due to the Adverse Weather prevails in the area .Motorists are being advised to use an alternative routes when traveling.
The 100 year old Bridge was built by the British rulers and according to the Road Development Authority the Bridge can be renovated and open within two weeks if the weather improves.
