Two Persons Have Detained While Transporting A Stock Of Expensive Ebony Timber At Kahawatte

Kahawatte Police (in Rathnapura district)have detained two persons who had illegally transported a stock of expensive Ebony Timber (Kaluwara) at Kahawatte area.

Police have also taken into the custody the cab vehicle used to transport the timber and the stock of timber it has been reported.

The suspects who are residents in Maligawila Area had transported the timber stock showing they were transported fruits the investigations have revealed.

Two suspects are due to produce before Palmadulla Magistrate and the Kahawatte Police are investigating in the incident.
