Fires had erupted in four places at Badulla District including three mountain areas at the moment according to the Disaster Management Center in Badulla District.Accordingly Kitulelle Mountain in Bandarawela,Dambana Mountain in Mahiyanganaya ,Bathgoda Mountain in haldummulla and idalgashinna lower area in Haputhale are under fire it has been reported.
Forest reserve officers with the assistance of Army and Police personal are currently engagaged in dousing the fires.They have trying to prevent the fire spreading to a Meditation Center at Kitulelle Mountain it has been reported.
