Two former Ministers Johnston Fernando and Rohitha Abeygunawardena had today (08) given statements to the Presidential Commission Of Inquiry regarding the allegations leveled against them according to sources.Accordingly the former minister Johnston Fernando had given a statement to the commission regarding importing a rice stock to "Sathosa" during the previous government without getting Cabinet Approval.
The former minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena had given a statement to the commission regarding the allegation leveled against him on misuse of public funds at the water filling ceremony and the opening ceremony of Hambanthota Harbor in 2010.
