A Report Regarding Money Laundering Charges Against MP Namal Rajapakshe Handed Over To The Attorney General

The Police have informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate today (08) that a report on the ongoing investigations regarding money laundering charges against Hambanthota MP Namal Rajapakshe has been handed over to the Attorney General.

This observation had been made when the case on money laundering charges was taken up for hearing by Colombo Fort Magistrate.

MP Rajapakshe was earlier detained by the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division in connection with the money laundering charges and later released on bail.
