The Colombo High Court has today(08) granted bail to imprisoned former Minister Of Economic Development Basil Rajapakshe who was detained last month over misappropriation of the state funds and supply building materials to District Councils.The former Minister was detained by Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division(FCID) on 18th of July.However soon after remanded by Kaduwela Magistrate Court he was admitted to the Merchants Ward of the Colombo National Hospital following his complaint on chest pain.
