The main suspect of the rape and murder of five year old Seya Sadewmini in Kotadeniyawa Area(In Western Province) Saman Jayalath has been sentenced to death with an additional 60 year imrisonment by Negambo High Court this morning.The Negambo High Court Judge Champa Janaki Rajaratne has delivered the death sentence to the suspect Saman Jayalath who found guilty for the rape and murder five year old girl near her residence.
DNA Test done in this regard proved Jayalath responsible for girl's rape and murder.
Five Year old Seya Sadewmini was sexually assaulted and strangled to death near her residence at Kotadeniyawa on 13th of September 2015.
