During last year (2015) around 500,000 Persons have got treatment for Oral Diseases through local hospitals according to Director General Of Health Services (Dental Services) attached to Ministry Of Health,Nutrition And Indigenous Medicine Dr.Jayasundara Bandara.Most of these patients have received treatment for Gum Diseases Dr.Bandara has stated during a press briefing held at Health Education Bureau in Colombo yesterday(14).The Gum Diseases among School Children and Adults are on the increase due to poor oral hygiene he has stressed.
