The appointment of New members to the Independent Commissions will
be delayed further due to the higher number of applications received for
the membership and as a result some candidates had applied for
the membership of several commissions according to the Parliamentary
sources.
Around 2000 applications had been received for the
membership of Independent Commissions so far and the applications will
be shortlisted as some applicants had not met the required
qualifications the sources have added ,The evaluation of the applications were earlier scheduled to be held within last week .
