The Prison Guard Lalith Kumara who
had been arrested by CID Officers upon his arrival at Katunayake Airport from Dubai last morning (27)had been taken in to custody by Colombo Crimes Division last night .
The Prison Guard who had participated a Party organized by Makandure Madush in Dubai had been questioned by CID around 14 hours over the incident .Later he was arrested by Colombo Crimes Division for further questioning.
The Prison Guard who was attached to Kalutara prison had been suspended by the prison authorities over not informing prison authorities prior to his departure to Dubai.
Prisons Department is also conducting a seperate investigation over the prison guard.
