Singer Nadimal Perera The Son Of Singer Amal Perera And A Sri Lankan Prison Guard Arrested Upon Their Arrrival In Katunayake Airport From Dubai -Nadimal Released After Questioning

Perera and a  prison guard Lalith  Kumara who had been arrested and remanded along with 29 others including drug kingpin Makandure Madush in Dubai last month (February) had  arrived in Sri Lanka last morning(27)after being released  by the Dubai Police .

Both of them had been arrested upon their arrival  at Katunayake International Airport  by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) officers for questioning .After questioning around seven hours Singer Nadimal perera had been released .

However the Prison Guard was held by CID Officers to question him further over his participation in the Party organized by Makandure Madush in Dubai Hotel.

Both Nadimal Perera along with Prison Guard had been released by Dubai Police after they were taken into custody whilst attending a party of Madush in a Dubai Hotel last month .

They were later remanded adter being produced before Dubai Court along with 29 others including Madush ,Nadimal Perera's faher Singer Amal Perera and actor Ryan .

As Nadimal and Prison Guard proved as not conusumed narcotics during the party they had been released by the Dubai authorities .

During the questioning Nadimal Perera has told CID Officers that he knew he was attending a party organized by Drug Kingpin Madush before going there as his father Amal perera told him about it prior to the  departure.

As he and Prison guard did  not have money to return Sri Lanka the wife of Makandure Madush who is in Sri Lanka has paid for their Air tickets Nadimal has stressed during questioning.

Nadimal has refused to comment to the Media after being released by CID and he had seen leaving the CID headquarters in a hurried manner.
