Police have arrested a couple while transporting a haul of Heroin in a Lorry at Welimada area yesterday (18).Police have taken into custody 21 Heroin Packets in possession of the suspects and later recovered another 37 packets of Heroin hidden in the lorry .
The two suspects who are residents of Thannekumbura in Kandy are due to be produced before the Welimada Magistrate Court.
