The distribution of Local films to be removed from Private Boards and to be done through the National Film Corporation only according to the chairman of the Film Corporation Sithandra Senaratnwe .Accordingly the right of distributing the Local films vested with four Private Boards will be removed from them and giving sole right of distributing locally made films only to the Film Corporation.
In future distribution of locally made films will not be handed over to the Private Sector it has been stated.
