A Wild Elephant Was Killed Due To An Electrocution

A Wild Elephant around 25-30 years old has died due to an electrocution at a Private land in Neluwagala area ,in Wellawaya Provincial Secretariat yesterday(13) according to reports.

The elephant has died due to an Electrocution caused by an Electric wire attached to a Motor use to get water to a house it has been revealed.

Wellawaya Wild Life Officers along with the Wellawaya Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.
