The reclamation work of the Colombo International Financial City(Formally Colombo Port City) Project will be recommenced in October according to the Chinese Company handling the project CHEC Port City Colombo.Sri Lankan Government has signed a tripartite agreement with the CHEC on 12th of August for the Colombo International Financial City by replacing the agreement signed during the previous government.Under the agreement the CHEC Company has issued a written letter stating the withdrawal of all compensation claims from the government for delaying the project.
