WHO Committee To Recommend The Suitability Of Using Dengue Vaccine At The End Of This Month

A special committee appointed by the World Health Organization (WHO) to investigate on the suitability of the dengue control vaccine manufactured in france is due to recommend at the end of this month
 whether that vaccine is suitable for use in countries that faced dengue including  sri lanka according to the Director General Of Health Services Dr.Palitha Mahipala.

Acvording to the investigations carried out so far it has been revealed that the vaccine is not providing 100% protection for dengue Dr.Mahipala has stated during a press briefing held in Ministry Of Health today (12).

Only after WHO recommends to use dengue vaccine it is possible to register the vaccine and import it he has further added.
