The Inter University Trade Unions Joint Committee which represents university staff is due to be launched one day token strike from midnight today(12) by demanding solutions for eight of their service demands.The Joint Committee has decided to launch this token strike as talks held with Officials of the Ministry Of Higher Education and University Grants Commission regarding their demands failed according Joint Committee officials.
