CID Has Begun Recording Statements From Witnesses Of Salawa Army Camp Fire

The Criminal Investigations Department(CID)has begun recording statements from Witnesses regrading the explosion and fire occurred at Army Camp in Salawa-Kosgama according to sources.

So far over 40 Army Officers who were on the  duty at Army Camp when the explosion has occurred given statements regarding the incident sources have stated.

Besides the CID Investigations an Investigation Team attached to Ministry Of Defense appointed by Army Commander is also investigating on the incident.

Due to the Army Camp explosion and fire one Army Soldier was killed and Seven civilians  injured and many houses in Salawa Area had been destroyed .
