A Youth was injured and hospitalized due to a shooting incident following a clash between two groups at Aluthwela Area in Wellawaya today(11) it has been reported.
The Clash has occurred on dispute over a love affair and as a result a 22 year old youth was inured due to a gun fire and admitted to Embilipitiya Hospital according to Wellawaya Police.
Wellawaya Police have detained the suspect involved in the shooting and he is due to be produced before Wellawaya Magistrate.
