The death toll due to recent floods and landslides in sri lanka has risen to 104 and 99 persons still reported as missing according to the latest statistics of Disaster Management Center(DMC).Another 31 have injured due to the floods and landslides which hit Sri Lanka last week as a result of heavy showers the DMC have stated.
Around 21,484 persons displaced due to the floods and landslides still staying at displaced camps although the flood waters drained it has been reported.
As a result of the adverse weather conditions occurred in the island 623 houses have been completely destroyed and another 4414 houses were partially destroyed the DMC has stressed.
