The Authorities have again today(27) issued a landslide warning to five districts in the country as heavy showers expected to continue within next 24 hours .Accordingly there's a possibility of landslides in Kandy,Kegalle,Nuwara Eliya,Ratnapura and Kalutara Districts National Building Research Organization has announced.
A large area of land belonging to Udawalawe area on Hanthana Mountain too is on landslide risk it has been reported.
Meanwhile the Meteorology Department has stated that heavy showers will be experienced today as well in most parts of the country.
