Venerable Warakagoda Gnanarathana Thero has been appointed today(07) as the new Chief Prelate (Mahanayaka) of the Asgiriya Chapter belonging to Siam Sector.The office of the Asgiriya Chapter fell vacant after the demise of most venerable Galagama Sri Aththadassi Thero who passed away due to an accident fall inside the Temple on 09th of March.
