The Colombo Additional Magistrate has today (02) remanded Shyamali Priyadarshani Perera the wife of imprisoned Former Senior Deputy Inspector General Of Police(DIG) Vaas Gunawardena until 16th of March after she was arrested and produced before court .The Former DIG's wife has been remanded for Illegal Possession and transporting of Fire Arms.Her husband the former DIG Vaas Gunawardena and their son had been sentenced to death recently over a killing of Colombo based Businessman.
